pxx009 Lyell See "30-lyell" & "6-allergy"

After this patient recovered from Lyell syndrome (epidermolysis) induced by a drug allergy, we discovered that he was suffering from a new disease: erythrodermic psoriasis (see same patient in pxx025)...

Association between Lyell and allergy is well known... But allergic reaction can also induce erythrodermic psoriasis which will continue even without the allergen.

It is important to know that such patients can have high cd4 counts... and can survive for a long time leading a normal life even without anti viral therapy!
